 Our Business name is Vacation Country Rentals. We are an L.L.C.  it has been our business name since 2011. Prior to being V.C.R. we were EtexasRentals.com. a name we felt was too confining.  Sale price $4.2 million

  3. Facebook pages as well as a Instagram for both VCR and HCL. (no Instagram for HCL) 3200+ and 600+ likes respectively
  4. We have all properties on Home Away and VRBO as Preferred Partners
  5. All properties are on Air BnB as Super Host status.
  6. A complete database of all customer emails with mail chimp account.
  7. Our booking platform is Lodgix which we really like. It's an easy learning curve.
  8. We own but have not developed CityFried.com as a redirect to our site 
  9. We own but have not developed LakeCountryWeddings.com While there's no doubt weddings and using our facility as a destination wedding venue is a money maker, I wanted to keep my focus on building the foundation of the business.

We have worked hard over the last 15 years building the business from the ground up. We have continually re-invested in the business and made it grow from a one house operation. While we have held weddings, church groups and corporate events we haven't targeted those groups. The person with some marketing skills will have a business that has great growth potential.

 My focus over the course of time has been to build the foundation of the business. We worked tirelessly with a small crew to build what you see here today. My fortay is geared more to that aspect of the business than marketing and strategic planning.

Which do you prefer, upper or this?

We've spent the last decade building and reinvesting into our business, but as we age, we're looking to get in the hands of someone that has the energy to really make it go. We've built a loyal and respectful customer base that has helped us dramatically reduced our reliance on advertising with outside agencies. About 70% of our renters rent from us again in the future.
Having built these homes ourselves, we struggle to treat them like a business: we rarely allow pets, we're perhaps a bit too strict on occupancy levels, and we turn down a  fair number of rental requests. While they've provided us a very nice income, we think someone more business minded could expand considerably.

As you've seen, you get everything you need to step in and not miss a beat in the operation of the business. Furniture, machinery and an inventory of supplies and spare parts. We will be happy to spend some time working with the new owners if you wish. Want to tour the properties?
